HTC Diamond 3 is rumored to be the Obsession
01/21/2009 By: KJ Shuttleworth

Touch screen slab phones are becoming more and more popular among manufacturers. They are evolving into some very powerful devices. Take the upcoming Obsession for example, with a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, HD video output, and AMOLED screen. Here's the kicker, this is all speculation from some reliable sources but Windows Mobile7 is likely to be shipped on the Obsession. The privileged few who have seen 7 have called it "revolutionary". Unfortunately they also report that it is unlikely that CDMA carriers (Sprint, Verizon) will have it due to poor sales of the original diamonds. Hopefully it's a little more inexpensive than the HD2 but with HTC we're not holding our breath.

New Motorola Android Phone In the works
01/20/2009 By: KJ Shuttleworth

The Motoroi was announced in South Korea by Motorola. The soft specs on the Motoroi phone include a 5MP camera, 720 HD Video, and a 3.7 Inch Touch Screen. The Motoroi will ship world wide and will hit the US (eventually) Motorola says. There is no word yet on which US carrier will host the new Android phone but more than likely it won’t be Verizon as it would put it in direct competition to the Droid. Keep checking back for more details and availability.
